No seats were available when the P2P Syncro team entered a breakout session at the Alliance Annual Conference on January 9, 2020. The room was packed, with people standing at the back and sitting on the floor. The discussion focused on creating bite-sized content for physician education.

The concept of integrating education and assessment to achieve results and improve outcomes was first published by Dr. Moore in 2009. However, implementing the Moore method can be challenging in the real world. Most physicians and healthcare professionals carry a heavy patient care load, so educational programs need to consider the time constraints of these providers.

For physicians, the lifelong journey of learning starts from the first day of medical school. As educators, making programs physician-friendly should be one of the key objectives. The value of microlearning and bite-sized content has been increasingly recognized. This innovative approach resonates with the realities of the real world, and it is here to stay.
